This policy explains how Eduparity Educational Services Private Limited handles your personal data when you use AkkredPrep.

2. What we collect

If you pre-register before launch

Your name, email address, the university you study at, and the course you are currently in. We also record that you gave consent, when you gave it, and the IP address the form was submitted from.

If you create an account

Your name, email address, and password (stored hashed — we never store it in readable form).

If you subscribe

Billing metadata from Razorpay such as transaction reference, amount, date and status. We never receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or bank credentials. Those go directly to Razorpay.

As you use the service

Which questions you attempted, your answers, scores, and progress, so we can show you your own performance.

Automatically

IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, for security and to diagnose faults.

3. Why we use it

To provide the service and your account; to process payments and manage your subscription; to show you your progress; to respond to support requests; to notify you about the service; to detect misuse and account sharing; and to meet legal and tax obligations.

If you pre-registered, we use your details only to tell you when AkkredPrep launches and to honour your pre-registration discount.

4. Legal basis and consent

Where we rely on consent — such as pre-registration and marketing email — you gave it freely and can withdraw it at any time by emailing support@akkredprep.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.

5. Who we share it with

Razorpay, for payment processing. Our hosting provider, for storing the service. Email service providers, for sending you service messages. Professional advisers and authorities where legally required. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

6. How long we keep it

Account and progress data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 24 months after it closes. Transaction records for 8 years as required by Indian tax law. Pre-registration details until launch plus 12 months, or until you ask to be removed.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Access to personal data is restricted to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time. You may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Email support@akkredprep.com and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — keeping you logged in and keeping your session secure. We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data.

10. International transfer

Our servers and service providers may be located outside India. Where data is transferred internationally we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected.

11. Children

AkkredPrep is for medical graduates and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or on the site.
